Privacy Policy

The responsible party is Ilodi Etsebeth, trading as Etsebeth Educational Consulting. Ilodi Etsebeth also acts as the Information Officer.

• Contact details you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number and school or organisation.
• The content of messages you send us through the contact form, email, WhatsApp or social media.
• Order details, such as what you bought, when, and the amount paid.
• Payment confirmation from PayFast or your bank. We do not receive or store your card details.

During consulting work, schools may share information about learners with us. We ask schools to share only what is necessary, and to remove names or identifying details wherever possible. Any learner information we receive is treated as strictly confidential, used only for the agreed support work, never shared with anyone else, and deleted or returned when the work is finished. The school remains responsible for having the right consent to share learner information.

• To respond to your enquiries and provide quotes.
• To process your order and deliver your digital resources.
• To arrange and provide consulting services.
• To keep financial records, as required by law.
• To send you information about new resources, but only if you have agreed to this. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We never sell or rent your personal information. We only share it with trusted service providers who help us run the business, and only as much as they need:

• PayFast, to process online payments securely.
• Our website host and form provider, which receive contact form submissions.
• Our email provider, which we use to deliver files and correspond with you.

Some of these providers store information on servers outside South Africa. We use reputable providers with appropriate security safeguards, as POPIA requires.

We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to help you, and order and payment records for at least five years, as required by South African tax law. After that, information is securely deleted.

We use password-protected accounts and secure, reputable services, and we limit access to your information to what is needed to serve you.

Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting and payment providers may use essential cookies so that the site and checkout work properly.

Under POPIA, you have the right to:

• ask what personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct or delete your information;
• object to us using your information, including for marketing;
• lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
